“We can?” Tommy bounces and kisses Bart’s cheek back, before tugging him down the street, “I know!”
Giggles, nodding his head. “Yeah, we can. After.” Follows Tommy, smiling. “You know where we can go?”
“DO I EVER.” He swung their hands and pulled Bart along.
It felt good to be just DOING things and he was finally feeling after this post ‘I was dead’ time that.. things were normal. Well, more normal. He’d stopped having as many nightmares, there wasn’t as many awkward silences and he was so … happy around everyone. It felt, really insanely good.
Squeezes Tommy’s hand, giggling and walking with Tommy. “Do you want to get the same type of tree?” He walked closer to Tommy, enjoying the warmth that radiated off of him. It was nice just being with him, doing their own definition of normal things.
“We can?” Tommy bounces and kisses Bart’s cheek back, before tugging him down the street, “I know!”
Giggles, nodding his head. “Yeah, we can. After.” Follows Tommy, smiling. “You know where we can go?”
Tommy stuffs the 2 dollars in his pocket and then lifts the smoking tree. “QUICK! Before Tim gets home!” He starts dragging it through the snow, trying to get his velocity up.
Laughs, picking up the other side of the tree to get them going faster. “Rightrightright I still thinkhe’llnotice though but we can go pickoutanothertree.”
“He won’t notice! We totally got this.” He’s started running backwards through the street with the smoking tree.
Shrugs a bit, grinning. “If you saaaaay sooooo~” Runs with him, making sure he didn’t run into anything. “How far should we take this?”
“INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE WOOD!” He said dramatically, “… or just some alleyway and we dump it in a trash can.”
Laughs, glancing around. “Well if we take it to the woods it’s possible it could spark up again and start a fire. Soooooo an alley sounds better yeah.”
It wasn’t hard to find an alleyway and Tommy drops the smoking tree into the can, before wiping his hands on Bart’s shirt.
“NEW TREE!”
Bart wrinkled his nose, wiping his hands on Tommy’s cheeks as payback and kissing his nose soon after, grinning. “New tree!”
“Keep kissing me and I’ll want to do something else.” He had soot over his cheeks now but he kissed Bart’s nose in return and grabbed the other’s hand, interlacing their fingers.
“We can do something else, after we get the tree.” Smiles, squeezing Tommy’s hand gently and kissing his cheek. “Let’s find the closest place that sells trees?”

-Tommy pressed into it, making a soft sound as it deepens. Hands wrap around Bart’s neck, pulling him closer.-
*A small noise came past his lips, wrapping his free arm around Tommy to bring him as close as he could*
-Tommy arched up on tiptoes, a groan emitting as he ground up against the other.-
*Makes a strangled noise, pulling back from the kiss and resting his forehead against Tommy’s, blushing a bit while smiling* The tree?
The tree? -Tommy asked dazedly- OH! Oh the tree! Righttttt.
*giggles, placing a quick kiss against his lips and zipping into the house, coming back in about a second. Puts two dollars in Tommy’s hand, grinning* Kay, now help me get the tree…far away from here.
